I am married to Gabrielle

Paints in the plain air

We were both arrested recently

For trespass we were told

Although we were in fallow field

Near a disused railway tunnel

Om common land

This happened in Ibiza

Which is small Wiltshire village

On the borders with Germany

It is appears that there is a deep secret

Within that tunnel which is causing friction

As investigating journalists

Disguised as plein air artists

Are probing deeply and penning articles

After the events in India in June 1936

Were fully exposed in a national newspaper

It was called The Secret of India Scandal 

Gaby and I are just innocent artists

Who live between the villages of India and Ibiza

In a cottage that once appeared in a Kim Philby dream

We have no interest in politics only art

But as a condition of our release

Have been told to report our dreams
