I was sleeping in my apartment 

From my panoramic window 

I had great views of the six cities 

i was awoken by people arguing 

in the yard below my window 

but I did not rise as I was unclothed 

My apartment is perfect in all ways 

It caters to my every wish 

I have pajamas for each day on the week 

a scruffy unshaven man burst into my room 

i covered myself with a stained sheet 

he was looking for a girl named cadet 

I own my apartment and three others 

They bring me a settled income 

Which means I can vary my employment 

when i awoke i was in a filthy bath 

the scruffy man was scrubbing my back 

this can happen in dreams i told myself 

Although I am very comfortable 

I still have terrible dreams of poverty 

This scares me as I am Cadet
