I was on a number seven bus

With one of my children

And noticed great gaps

In the lower deck

That exposed the road


I told my child to watch a football match

As there was a last minute corner

The goalkeeper manager had come up

But as the ball was crossed he was pushed

And fell towards to gaping lower deck

I threw myself to break his fall

But in the process I broke my arm

When I returned home with my child

My arm was in a sling and very painful

Instant reprogramming

I am on very strong painkillers

The buses were repaired

And the game finished even
