Hi Bonni what are you doing here
You should be in the warm
As it is icicles out here
I am homeless Lezah
But you had such a lovely hutch
I was so jealous of you
And so were many of the other rabbits
What happened
Do you remember the storm
Which storm
Storm Willam
Nobody will ever forget that storm
It caused so much damage
Including my lovely home
Which was crushed by a falling branch
Whilst Pippin and I were collecting carrots
My owner promised us a new hutch
More splendid that the last
And employed Stanley Stuart as his architect
Wow you always seem to fall on your feet
But I am confused as you say you are now homeless
It all went well for a whilst whilst my owner was abroad
I was very excited as our new hutch was spectacular
It was the King of all Hutches
But then they started arguing
Who
The architect and my owner
Why did they argue
Because my owner wanted a lyrical hutch
Full of circles curves and other organic surprises
But he was presented with a bleak austere concrete hutch
He called it brutalist and designed without love
My owner refused to pay the architects fee
Is that why you became homeless
Yes as the architect destroyed the hutch with a hammer
Did that frighten you
Very much
Pippin and I ran away with all of God’s speed
And have been squatting ever since
Then I might be able to help you
In what way
Since I last saw you I have moved
And now live with all of my friends
On the railway embankment
Near the distant and home signals
It is something of a cooperative where everything is shared
Do you have the room
We have lots of room
As when the line was electrified
The embankment was reshaped considerably
If you ignore the cables and the rare maintenance visits
Then it is a wonderful place
You are more than welcome to join us all
Do follow me as it is less than a mile
Pippin please stop eating the farmers crops and make haste
As we have a new home near that cow bridge
We are now the Railway Rabbits
