When I first read the script

I loved it

I loved every word

But Joe had his reservations

Which influenced me

Even though I did not want him to influence me

What were his objections

I do not think that they were objections

I think that he thought that the role was was beneath me

He wanted me to be a successful actress

I had the looks and the charisma

I was a girl with all the gifts

But I suspect that he knew that my heart was not there

What did Russell say when you told him

He was a little surprised but he understood me

Your role of Tina was played by two actresses in the final movie

Do you think that this worked

Very much as it took people out of their comfort zone

It was a collective idea

Russell and Joe discussed the complexities of the character

I then suggested that two actresses should play Tina

And that they should bear little or no resemblance to each other

You have not made a film for a number of years Josie

Do you think that you might return to acting

Never say never but for the present it is not likely

As real life is a big enough challenge if you get my drift
