Why are you happy

Because I have just broken

A window in the town hall

Why did you do that

There is no reason

You will be arrested

I have blamed another man

He will suffer the punishment

But why Si

If there was ever a reason

Then my actions illustrate

That replacing destroyed items

Does not lead to economic gain

It suggests that destruction

Diverts money away

From new goods and services

War if you think about it directs resources

Away from consumer to war materials

And this in turn harms productivity

Some men become very rich

Whilst others become poor

Some men die horribly

Or are grievously injured
