This jetty looks brand new

It has not aged or decayed

The red paint almost glows

No explanations were given

It cannot be reached by road

That is the reason for this jetty


Shall we swim as the waters are clear

The river supports very little life

Because of the white sands

Harmless to us but unkind elsewhere

Were laboratories built on site

It is so quiet here nothing moves

Apart from the river and the clouds
