Today is June the Seventeenth
Yesterday was Bloomsday
I did not celebrate this day
As I was sick in bed
Normally you serve me breakfast
On June the Sixteenth at exactly six am
Wearing your long linen nightdress
Which used to belong to your grandmother
You would then lift the hem of this historic garment
And expose your generous and unruly bush
I was required to stare at your overgrown garden
For exactly twenty eight seconds before thanking you
This did not happen yesterday as I was sick
You did not even enter my bedroom
And was fully dressed when we took my bath
I did not fancy a breakfsdt as my appitite was dull
You lefy a notr on yjr kitvhen table
Which read
