In the desert

Can be difficult

As the winds

Can be quite savage

My name is Moose

Or rather my nickname

Is Moose because

I look like a Moose

As I have never

Seen a Moose

I cannot comment

In certain ways

I am quite beautiful

Or at least

I am told

That I am beautiful

Even though

I resemble a Moose

With a skin complaint

Seriously it has advantages

As I am the centrefold

Of the desert

And is not helped

When passing truckers

Sound their loud horns

And make suggestive comments

In the general direction

Of my me moose places

Next to the busy Interstate
