I am often told that I am out of step with the world

As people do not find my opinions comfortable

They immediately pigeonhole me because of my age and colour

Which of course is a complete nonsense as I care deeply for others

Why would a man who rescues stranded fish after storms

Exhibit a contempt for his fellow human beings

There is no logic to that flawed argument

I am aware of what terrifies those who criticise me

It is because I am a clear mirror tall and bold

I am only but your reflection 
If you do not like what you see 
Then turn away
