A group of friends
Camped on a railway line
Near my rural home
This is not a city park
You will not be safe
As you are in a dangerous place
But they cared more for the butterflies
The inevitable happened
As an express train hit the tent
And their hearts were shredded
Into the failing winds
The whole thing was very tragic
I felt so sad for them but I blamed nobody
If you had been in a city park
This would not have happened
But the noise started immediately
The jackals emerged from the desert
The railways were blamed
The government was blamed
Everybody who could be blamed was blamed
The only people who were not blamed
Were these butterfly loving friends
Who had placed themselves in danger
I tend to avoid camping on railway tracks
As it is pure common sense nothing more
Even though I am greatly attracted to butterflies
