A large parasol was blown

Towards the southbound track

By a sudden gust of wind

I was viewing this drama from over three thousand miles away

And would have been unable to influence history

Even if I had wanted to do so

Happily an off duty cop arrived in his red pick up truck

And proceeded to remove the obstruction from the rails
