I saw a volcano on the way to work today 

Between David Greig and Timothy White’s 

It was in eruption and the lava was active 

This struck me odd as this volcano was extinct 

My boyfriend is an artist who works with evaporated milk 

I collect wooden elephants without tusks 

We live above the Violet Cube public house 

I smile as I have a face that smiles frequently 

This helps me as I wish to be a famous ballerina 

Volcanoes are not known to smile that often 

Although they do appreciate satirical humour 

Both the forty seven and forty nine buses were cancelled today 

As two out the six bus shelters were flooded up the line
