Yes it is a pleasant but sometimes a sobering occupation

What are your impressions

Most clubs are very friendly

Especially the smaller ones

This said some of Premiership clubs

Can be quite featureless

Including my own club

They have little or no heart

Because for a club of that size

They were incredibly friendly

Not false just incredibly friendly

Was it because you were English

No there were many international visitors

Everybody was treated the same

Whilst there I purchased a home shirt for Josie

Which took their fancy and many photographs were taken

I learned later that she had featured in a match programme

It was great fun and Josie said to me

That she loved the idea that she for a few hours was a Marianne
