I was in Margate today

When an elderly woman

Asked me If I was going to swim

As it was such a hot day

I mumbled that I did not have a bathing costume

And was told that she would not be shocked

If I chose to swim in the nude

The woman then looked towards the beach

And departed without another word

It must have been the hot weather methinks
