they are all around us

they are in alleys

on sidewalks

on passing trains

they can be seen

on the brightest of days

and the thickest of nights

ghosts have been known

to haunt commercial divers

in the depths of the bay

and military pilots

high in the blue

they are everywhere

yet are nowhere

to be found

and that is what

really terrifies me
