The Passing of Blue Days

I seemed to walk into a madness

A Blue Pullman

Had just arrived at Ealing Common Station

Jayne caught up with me and told me

About the emergency that did not exist

She dropped had her mobile on to the tracks

I warned her not to retrieve it as lines were live

Small committees had been formed

Each favoured a certain area

It was likely that I would clash with them

As I always clash with idiots

In the distance I could see huge wall waves

Which were very impressive

I waved to Jayne as the train pulled away

She did not see me although she was safe

A few minutes later I was asked to subscribe

To a community magazine but I refused claiming poverty
