Sandra learns that her parents

Have perished in a plane crash

She wanders aimlessly

Around her bedroom

Staring at the grey wall

For the next few minutes

The camera studies this wall

Nothing happens

Sandra then lights a cigarette

And stubs it repeatedly

Against the soft flesh

Of her exposed arm
