Many years ago I saw a movie

About a confused middle aged man

Trying to swim across Los Angeles

Using the swimming pools of others

The idea was quite original

So I decided to remake the film

This said I live in a very poor city

Which is derelict and totally run down

All the remaining swimming pools

Are just decaying cesspits

And not really fit for purpose

The budget of my movie

Was almost non existent

Which suggested to me that

That I should use large puddles

Instead of the swimming pools
