Just over twenty years ago

Something terrible happened

In front of my little shop

A Canadian tourist was abducted

By a swarm of locusts

Never before witnessed

In this town or county

To this day nobody knows

Why this poor man was chosen

There is no known record of his name

Or why he was visiting our town
