We were asked to walk

Hand in hand

As if we were lovers

In the background

Whilst Stephen Bury

Sang lyrically

About the streets of Valencia

Our reward was a recording

Of his greatest hits (volumes one and two)

And one of his famous purple shirts

This amused me as my father

Had once appeared in an ABBA video

I say appeared but that is not completely correct

As he was driving his car down a hill

On a cold frosty morning

Whilst Agnetha Fältskog was filming

On an icy railway platform nearby

He was not even aware at the time

What was actually happening

And was only told later by friends

Why a film crew had found a near deserted station

In the suburbs of Stockholm so deeply interesting

Whenever I see this video his little car

Still drives down the same hill with its lights bright

Without reaching its destination (FKM Electronics)

I asked Eve if any members of her family

Had claims to fame no matter how small

She said that her family although very loving

Were quiet inoffensive and quite predictable

And did not really like going to the Proms

If the television cameras were going to be there

I was taking Eve to the Mestalla Stadium

As she had never seen a Spanish football match

The visitors were the Galician side Celta Vigo
