And handed me a number of unused posters

Some dating back to the forties and early fifties

Thy were a mixed bag of forgotten acts and variety shows

Although the Boardman Sisters were quite prominent

This moved me as Kaye Sissy and Emily Boardman

Were three of my fathers sisters and popular in their day

Before they faded and became objects of my nostalgia
