It is ten past twelve and I am desolate

I have been travelling all day

The previous occupant of this cabin

Left a paperback book on the upper bunk

The title of the novel is Blue White Blue

And is about a unique quartz pebble

Which gives the reader special powers

The odd thing about the book is that after page 146

It concludes with over eighty pages of illustrations

Some of which are rather delicate line drawings

The last thirty pages are completely blank

I obviously have not inherited these unusual gifts

The book was written about ten years ago

It appears by a someone named Knut Hansen

The whole story has left me very confused

But I will keep this paperback as a souvenir of my journey
