Earlier this year I was laid low by a virus
Which left me bedridden and totally spaced
As I had just moved into this lonely city
I knew nobody and nobody knew me
Jane Mac Brown was totally alone
The only person I had met was Mark
Who lived on the floor below me
He worked in fashion or something similar
To be truthful I thought he was a faggot
But I need to somebody to keep an eye on me
It did not help that I threw up in front of his flat
And more or less fainted into the mess
But that did not faze him in the least
And he looked after me for the rest of the week
Mark was always there ensuring that I was okay
He obviously saw me at my very worst shitting pissing sicking
I went to bed in my blue tee shirt and woke up in his pajamas
That was how caring he was during these awful days
And then it ended I returned to my reality and Mark faded
He was as I guessed a faggot who was married to Gordon
They both became my friends but I never felt naked in front of them
Even though they would have seen me at my very worst
Indeed deep down in my fucked up brain I rather enjoyed the idea
