Drive This Bus

I am not a violent person

But the other day

As I walking back from

The tube station

I saw a creep

Bothering a girl

Nothing much happened

I am happy to say

But the girl looked upset

It was then that something snapped

And I followed this low life

Knowing that when I had the chance

I would hit it hard from behind

He fell straight into a puddle

Not knowing what had hit him

Did you hurt him Joe

Not really just enough

To send him to the stars

And then I faded into the night

What if he recognised you

He never knew what hit him

You have been in trouble before Joe

That was years ago Josie

Do you think that when he recovers

That this low life will trot to the pig farm

And tell them that the current Poet Laureate

Taught him a lesson that was always coming

You worry me sometimes Joe

As there is a spark point within you

Which I wonder if you can control

If I knew the answer Josie

If only I knew the answer
