Walmer Railway Station is located between Dover and Ramsgate

It is a quiet station which is just a short distance from the village

Nothing apart from a dreadful explosion just after the war

Has broken the silence of this unchanged Victorian station

As with many stations on the line it has a deep narrow subway

Which has in recent years been covered by close circuit television

Some operators but not all have reported small floating orbs of light

Within the confines of this dull ancient subway

Some are agitated some are quite still

Suggesting that this a world just out of sight
