The first mention of Le Celine

Can be found in 1945

Just after the war

It was supposed

That she was a Polish refugee

She met a wounded GI

They opened a cafe together

Which still stands to this day

And then in the summer of 1947

She suddenly vanished

Which resulted

In many theories

It was thought

That she went to Australia

To work on a sheep farm

But although investigated

This was never proven

The GI sold the cafe

And later returned to America

There were no other sightings

Of Le Celine until 1963

And twice in 1966

Both were in Greece

And then she vanished again

But not before her likeness

Was recorded

These were her first photographs

And when shown to the GI

He confirmed that it was Le Celine

And that she had not aged a day

She looked as fresh as she had looked

When they opened the cafe together

In 1980 she was spotted in Flagstaff

Working in a child care centre

She no longer called herself Le Celine

And had adopted Viola Gresham as her name

Le Celine /Viola Gresham stayed in Flagstaff

For just over a year before retiring to Chile

Which she named as her home country

Despite extensive enquires she never arrived

And apart from a London sighting in 2023

No trace of her has ever been recorded

There are many theories about Le Celine

As she is more commonly known

But nobody has explained in any detail
