His did not finish the lyrics and a passing medic who found them next to his body placed them into a bottle a threw them into a nearby shell hole<\/p>\n
They have remained there ever since<\/p>\n
Today the site of the churchyard is a car park<\/p>\n
Its patrons are totally unaware that buried deeply below the surface are the final lyrics of a German soldier called<\/p>\n
