I would not call it odd but just loving<\/p>\n

We photograph our bums and send the results<\/p>\n
To each other via our phones<\/p>\n
Is that not a little risky<\/p>\n
One of you might send it to the wrong person<\/p>\n
I do not think that they would worry as bums<\/p>\n
Are pretty commonplace these days<\/p>\n
They are seen as objects of humour<\/p>\n
How did it start<\/p>\n
It started when Jane went to Blackpool<\/p>\n
We were missing each other dreadfully<\/p>\n
There were no mobile phones in those days<\/p>\n
We chatted on the land lines but it seemed distant<\/p>\n
And then one morning a letter arrived for me<\/p>\n
It has a Blackpool postmark<\/p>\n
I opened it and inside found a photograph of Jane<\/p>\n
In her bathroom at the hotel<\/p>\n
She had covered herself with a pastel towel<\/p>\n
But her bare bum was reflected fully in the mirror<\/p>\n
It was the nicest gift that I had ever received<\/p>\n
As prior to that I had not seen her naked<\/p>\n
The message was clear as she was not only<\/p>\n
My best friend but was soon to be my lover<\/p>\n
Since that date whenever we are apart<\/p>\n
We send each other naked bum photographs<\/p>\n
Both for a safe journey and a safe return<\/p>\n
This morning Jane left for the West Country<\/p>\n
And without thinking we shared photographs<\/p>\n
I will be meeting Jane in Bath on Sunday<\/p>\n
As I am travelling in a couple of days time<\/p>\n
We will be staying overnight at a hotel<\/p>\n
Before we return to our blue coastal home<\/p>\n
As normal I will be reading Browning<\/p>\n
And will be using a photo of Jane’s bum<\/p>\n
