In my dream we had been parted<\/p>\n
Through no fault of our own<\/p>\n
This happens often in dreams<\/p>\n
I was worried about you<\/p>\n
And then I found a bicycle<\/p>\n
A rainbow bicycle abandoned<\/p>\n
Next to a tree and an abandoned fence<\/p>\n
I borrowed this bicycle<\/p>\n
As I wanted to find you<\/p>\n
But as soon as I was aboard<\/p>\n
I descended rapidly into the valley<\/p>\n
A valley obscured by clouds<\/p>\n
I found myself by the main gate<\/p>\n
Of a large railway goods yard<\/p>\n
To my right expresses thundered by<\/p>\n
To the dark cities one and two<\/p>\n
A porter greeted me and took my bicycle<\/p>\n
Into the nesting rooms three and four<\/p>\n
I was assured that it would be secure<\/p>\n
In the distance a small shunting locomotive<\/p>\n
Was being loaded on to a flat back lorry<\/p>\n
It looked ill balanced to me and soon fell to the ground<\/p>\n
The porter assured me that this was a common occurrence<\/p>\n
Near the low fence a table had been set out for guests<\/p>\n
This appealed to me as I loved fast trains cherry red<\/p>\n
And liked to be near them as they screamed through stations<\/p>\n
The porter and I sat a the maroon table and soon<\/p>\n
We were joined by a female scientist of mellow years<\/p>\n
She explained to me that if we were positioned two metres<\/p>\n
From our occupation that our loves would be in danger<\/p>\n
And that we would never live and produce future drivers<\/p>\n
As she finished her sentence a purple bullet train screamed by<\/p>\n
And for an instant I thought I saw you in carriage sic<\/p>\n
I recognised your red print dress giverny green blue<\/p>\n
You were also not wearing any underwear as you<\/p>\n
Felt that it restricted you when visiting the fifth cities<\/p>\n
But I had only spoken to you in a previous dream<\/p>\n
And this confused me as when I had left you<\/p>\n
The wind had been cool and you were wearing<\/p>\n
Lavender scented panties and an octopus bra<\/p>\n
We enjoyed our tea and watched the rapid trains<\/p>\n
I was then taken on a conducted tour of the goods yard<\/p>\n
It had seen better days and in parts was dilapidated<\/p>\n
But there was a swimming pool and a coloured box<\/p>\n
Which made up for some of the dereliction<\/p>\n
I was told to close my eyes as I walked along<\/p>\n
The six mile corridor left and right<\/p>\n
When my visual freedom was restored<\/p>\n
I was in the most splendid tea room in the universe<\/p>\n
It was populated by people posh and the people pewter<\/p>\n
My only question was why with all this neglect<\/p>\n
Could such a tea room exist and obviously thrive<\/p>\n
And then I was on the rainbow bicycle one more<\/p>\n
I was cycling towards the seventh hill which was very steep<\/p>\n
Its gradient troubled me as it was almost sheer<\/p>\n
But I was not alarmed as the bicycle started to float<\/p>\n
And soon very soon I was at the flop top summit clear<\/p>\n
You were waiting for me in your eighth dress<\/p>\n
I asked you about your underwear and you slapped me<\/p>\n
And told me that I should not discuss intimate items<\/p>\n
When in mixed company and especially in the presence of shunting engines<\/p>\n
I explained that I had missed you and was very worried about you<\/p>\n
You then responded with a kiss and suggested that we should ride tandem<\/p>\n
On the rainbow bicycle which I had found abandoned in my ninth dream<\/p>\n
