Then we shall depart within the hour<\/p>\n
How far away is it<\/p>\n
About a mile<\/p>\n
Will I need special walking shoes<\/p>\n
No trainers or normal soft shoes will do<\/p>\n

This is amazing place<\/p>\n
A white desert next to the sea<\/p>\n
I can see its origins above us<\/p>\n
These white cliffs are world famous<\/p>\n
You can see them clearly from France<\/p>\n
As we can see their cliffs across the channel<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
This area seems derelict<\/p>\n
What was it in its former life<\/p>\n
It was a military firing range up to few years ago<\/p>\n
I believe a rifle club existed here as late as the 1980s<\/p>\n
It looks like that it was abandoned many many years ago<\/p>\n
That is the destruction of the sea<\/p>\n
Every year a bit more goes<\/p>\n
Another wall collapses<\/p>\n
As you can see it is totally exposed here<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
You would think that a place like this<\/p>\n
Would be bleak and without love<\/p>\n
But the opposite is true<\/p>\n
It is a spiritual place<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Has anything awful happened here<\/p>\n
Not to my knowledge<\/p>\n
Why do you ask<\/p>\n
I can feel ghosts here<\/p>\n
We all feel these ghosts<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
I have a gift for you Sally<\/p>\n
It is only a piece of driftwood<\/p>\n
How sweet of you<\/p>\n
Anna and I give the same gift to all our friends<\/p>\n
And sometime I leave them for passers by<\/p>\n
