20 Degrees South and I are on a TGV<\/p>\n

We are heading at speed<\/p>\n

Towards our beach side villa<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I am a successful writer<\/p>\n

And now live in Antibes<\/p>\n

That is the only fact of my life<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I found 20DS begging on a Paris street<\/p>\n

She was feeding a habit<\/p>\n

So I took her under my wing<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I had no ulterior motive<\/p>\n

Even though she is very beautiful<\/p>\n

I just wanted a companion<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We have been together for five years<\/p>\n

And she recently told me in confidence<\/p>\n

That her birth name was Muriel<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

That was the first thing that she had revealed<\/p>\n

This suits us both as we are very close friends<\/p>\n

Who tend to exist within our own shadows<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n
