I am rising from my bed at about four each morning<\/p>\n

So that I might watch the dawn break over the sea<\/p>\n

The air has not cooled even though there has been no light<\/p>\n

For some hours since the previous day collapsed into the night<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A peculiar weather system is developing over Portugal at present<\/p>\n

Which will as it grows bigger send scalding air northwards<\/p>\n

I spent some time on the beach yesterday relaxing and swimming in the sea<\/p>\n

Hot southerly winds were caressing the sands which was unusual even in July<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

On Monday Jane and I travelled for a while in brilliant sunshine<\/p>\n

So that we could enjoy a colourful village on the edge of a white desert<\/p>\n

Our velvet voyage did not disappoint us for as we drifted amongst the writers<\/p>\n

We found a low promenade where we enjoyed the small haunts of our journey<\/p>\n
