I found a bottle on the beach this morning Anna<\/p>\n

Was it full<\/p>\n

Well yes and no as its contents were long gone<\/p>\n

But it was not empty in the true sense of the word<\/p>\n

You mean that somebody had pissed in it<\/p>\n

No not that<\/p>\n

Really you can be so gross Anna<\/p>\n

Go on<\/p>\n

The bottle which had been securely sealed contained a message<\/p>\n

A message in a bottle<\/p>\n

Yes<\/p>\n

What was the message or let me guess<\/p>\n

Was it from a delicate soul stranded in a Godforsaken resort pleading for rescue<\/p>\n

Or at least his or her liberty<\/p>\n

No there was a short but sad rhyme written in pen on the receipt from a gift shop<\/p>\n

Do you have the rhyme Anna<\/p>\n

Yes<\/p>\n

Then please read it<\/p>\n

Said the spider to the fly\u00a0<\/em><\/div>\n

I will hide behind a fat person\u00a0<\/em><\/div>\n

I wonder what possessed someone to write this and place it in a bottle<\/div>\n

It is obviously from a mature hand<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
In a way there is something obvious in the writing<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
I feel like I know it well<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
I was bored Anna<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Bored<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
I was in Ramsgate and the people were not very beautiful on the day of my visit<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
So I purchased a bottle of pop and composed the first thing that entered my head<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
I then consigned it to the sea if anything as an act of rebellion against the ugliness that I was witnessing that day<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Ramsgate is on the whole beautiful but it was the day trippers that were spoiling it and this saddened me<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
As without beauty the world is nothing<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
I chose a spider and a fly as they are obvious opposites<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Anna<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Where exactly did you find the bottle<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
On the beach not far from the sentinel<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
That is quite fascinating<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Why<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
I only threw the bottle into the sea on Tuesday<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
And it has travelled so quickly from Ramsgate<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
I am not an expert but I am told that there are unusual currents in this area<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Given<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
But it is the mathematics of chance that fascinate me greatly<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
That is to say that one Anna in a moment of despair released a message in a bottle<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
And that another Anna who she loves dearly finds the said bottle six days later<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Yes it is rather strange it is almost as if it was planned<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Do you think it was a God Plan<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Possibly<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Then would you marry me Anna<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
