Was Happy Here

What did you do whilst I was visiting Daddy

I was happy Anna really happy even though I was missing you like mad

Penelope was as quiet as normal even though she is so polite and nice

I feel at times that she is a ghost rather like the Lady Ghost

I decided to walk into Deal as the day was hot and I was beached out

You ought to see my tan lines

I fully intend to

Tease

What made you so happy Anna

Buses

Buses

Yes buses

I did not think that you liked buses

I do as they bring back memories of my first flat

It was right next to a bus stop and when the buses stopped

The top deck could see straight into my lounge

Was that not intrusive

Not a bit

What happened if you were naked

Then the top deck would know that I was a natural blonde

But it did not happen often except when the 07:16 stopped

Why was that

Because I was normally making coffee in the small kitchenette

But you said the lounge was overlooked

It was a lounge diner as before Daddy purchased the gallery I lived in Richmond

The guys that travelled on the 07:16 mostly worked at the boatyard

I am sure that my bum was a good start to their day

Did you do it deliberately

Sometimes

Did you enjoy it

Yes it turned me on when I was awake enough to remember it

Otherwise it was me just being naked dappy

Think of all the boats on the Thames

I do

Made with the thought of you in their tools

Ha Ha

So what have buses to do with your walk into Deal as they are mostly single level buses around here

Agreed but as I walked towards Walmer Green I suddenly saw around about a dozen vintage buses of all sizes

Did the 07:16 have an illustration of you rnaked bum on it

No yours

I had not planned to stop but then I stared drifting around almost sleep walking between these buses

Some were from London but others were from Kent and they were quite quite beautiful

People were milling around them and there were a lot of excited children and adults

I took some photographs on my phone and then this chap asked did I want a ride

Is this the dirty bit Anna

Behave yourself

He asked if I would like a trip to Sandwich on the brown and creme bus

I accepted at once

He probably wanted to look up your skirt when you climbed the stairs

Cynic

Anyway I was wearing your shorts

The lavender ones

Yes

I wondered where they were

After a while the bus started its journey and we drove through Deal towards Sandwich and it was as we passed along the streets that I saw how pleased and happy people were to see a vintage bus

I passed two weddings and on both occasions the bride and groom were leaving the church

You could see it on their faces but everybody there just loved seeing this bus

It was then as the bus passed the sunflower fields in Worth that I realised that I was happy super happy if you will

As days go this was a super happy day

Are you on something Anna

I had overdosed on happiness

Magic mushrooms

I felt that I had really discovered Kent as we travelled like the pilgrims had all those years ago

I was looking at things through Samuel Palmer’s eyes

That shit that Outlaw takes

I was in the past and the present at the same time and I realised that I was so happy here

Had you not realised that before

You have said that you are happy at The Green House many times

Outlaw might be a piece of shit but he leaves us alone

Penelope is a darling and Jasmine Tea is a good friend

Penelope kills people Anna

I know but she is so nice

There are many different kinds of happiness Anna

My happiness with you here is a type of happiness

My love for this area is a different type of happiness

And the happiness when I was on this lovely bus was another

What about the happiness of all those guys who built the boats

That was another type of happiness my nakedness made them happy

Lust more likely

You have to remember that happiness is an abstract as you cannot see it

One cannot go into a shop and buy it

Many people think they are happy whereas they are content

Is contentment not happiness Anna

Not really as it is a feeling of comfort

One can live in a really nice house with all the good things of life and think that one is happy when in fact one is comfortable and content

Sometimes you are happy without really knowing it

A chap might think he is happy by buying a fast car but he is buying a car not the abstract

In a year he will have bored of his toy and be looking elsewhere

He is looking for an happiness that does not exist as I and I will repeat this happiness is an abstract and cannot be purchased

Anna when did you leave Cambridge

A few years ago

Were you happy there

To be truthful I do not think that I was totally happy

I had girlfriends and boyfriends but I was a ship at sea looking for a port

Am I your port

Very much

Do you think that this happiness will last

That is hard to tell as it is shapeless like the sea

I hope it does as I am super super happy with you

Two supers against the one on the bus

Yes

What did you do in Sandwich

I went to the railway station as it had been my intention to go to Broadstairs to catch a movie

Which one

Tove

Did you like it

Very much it was a rare movie

Were you happy with it

I cannot say that I was happy with it but I admired it a great deal

Do you think that Outlaw is happy

I hope not

Why

Because he is a shit at times

Why do you think he is a shit

Because he can spell it

I think that Outlaw is very happy and will understand this fiction clearly

But he is the type of person who can stare into the abyss at the same time

Perhaps that is why I do not think he is totally happy

I disagree but i can see where you are coming from

What did you do whilst I was visiting Daddy I was happy Anna really happy even though I was
