I was working on an air base even though I was a civilian worker <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The other person in my department was a middle aged woman plain in appearance and rather rounded <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although I tolerated her I did not particularly like her as I thought that she was a cocksucker <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I dislike cocksuckers male or female <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was an ordinary day but we were summoned to meet the commandant who I considered to be an absolute cunt <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Part of our job was to bring the message bottles to his office twice a day once at ten and then again at four <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Messages from other bases<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was a nickname because they were placed in tubes for security <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not that they were important<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To carry on the commandant wanted to receive the message bottles three times a day at ten at one and lastly at four <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I argued against it as we received little in the early afternoon <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But the commandant being the cunt that he was told me that he was in charge and my opinion was irrelevant <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This obviously fucked me off but I did not add to my original argument<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was as we were cutting across the main runway <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Main runway was that not dangerous Stan <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yes but it is hard to die in dreams    <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was a known but tolerated shortcut<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was walking with Masie Moo <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Was that her name <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Masie yes but I called her Masie Moo as she was a silly cow <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was as we were cutting across the runway arguing really about the commandants change of procedure that I saw one of the nuclear bombers coming towards us <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wow did you run <\/p>\n\n\n\n

No we had a nice apple pie picnic <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was on fire and sure to crash and if its load exploded we would be totally and truely fucked <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I told Maisie to run with me without argument as I knew that she was the most important thing in my life<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 As I was in hers <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What happened <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was aware that there were attack shelters near the perimeter fence so we ran at speed towards them <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As I ran I saw the bomber belly flop onto the runway in a fireball completely destroying the commandant’s office   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But incredibly the plane flew upwards and then it released its nuclear payload into the sky<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was an apocalypse and as we dived into the shelter the whole area exploded <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Were you hurt <\/p>\n\n\n\n

No we made it in time and soon were running along the dimly lit passages that led towards to nearby hills <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And then <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We stopped and I said to Masie who was clearly distressed that we might if we were lucky survive but what would our future world be like <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Did she reply <\/p>\n\n\n\n

No <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because Cleo woke me up <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cleo <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She was telling me to get up <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was in a mess and shaking as it had been a graphic nightmare <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stan this is strange <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because whilst you were at football I watched a series of Jack Ryan movies and was indeed watching one when you arrived home <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You had no idea as you showered and being Stan decided to catch even more football on your laptop <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You did not ask and were totally ignorant of my recreation <\/p>\n\n\n\n

That is why it is so spooky as the dream that you described was almost identical to the movie that I was watching <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was almost as you were inside my head<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am sometimes <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Take it seriously Stan otherwise I will bite next time<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You seem to have an odd ability to see certain things <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I know it has happened before <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yes with that football manager a few years ago <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I woke up that morning and knew that he had died <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There was absolutely no way I would have known that <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was only announced on the media that morning <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And the Canterbury incident <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yes we were travelling back from Canterbury when I suddenly knew that a car had crashed into a garage and within minutes we passed a garage where a car had managed to crash into the display cars on the forecourt <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is absolutely no way you would have known about Jack Ryan or the football manager or the Canterbury incident <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is very unnerving Stan <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Does it happen often <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It tends to be in clusters <\/p>\n\n\n\n

London buses <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a way <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I sometimes feel that I am very special Jane <\/p>\n\n\n\n
