{"id":12346,"date":"2023-01-19T19:06:21","date_gmt":"2023-01-19T19:06:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stuartmillerosborne.co.uk\/?p=12346"},"modified":"2023-01-19T19:06:21","modified_gmt":"2023-01-19T19:06:21","slug":"stan-and-jane-catch-a-train","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stuartmillerosborne.com\/index.php\/2023\/01\/19\/stan-and-jane-catch-a-train\/","title":{"rendered":"<strong>Stan and Jane Catch a Train<\/strong>\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Everyman takes the limits of his own field&nbsp;of vision<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>&nbsp;For the limits of the world&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">who said that&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Schopenhauer<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">what was he saying&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Basically that you&nbsp;accept that your own limits&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Are the limits of the world&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Which they are not&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We all differ&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My field&nbsp;of vision is different than yours&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Take the platform edge for instance&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That could be the limit&nbsp;of my vision&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And I would consider&nbsp;that nothing exists beyond it&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Which of course&nbsp;it does&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I know that because I know what lies beyond&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">the railway&nbsp;tracks<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yes&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">have you ever discovered the limits of your own vision stan&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Frequently yes&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But then I question&nbsp;my limits&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And the whole process begins again&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I move in circles&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We all move in circles<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">how does one know that one has reached their limit&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That is a question that only you can answer Jane&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">do you think that&nbsp;you will ever fall into the abyss stan&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I probably already have but have not accepted it as an abyss&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And have climbed out&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is not a question that I can readily answer Jane\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I can hear our train Stan&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So you can&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jane<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can hear our train&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Stan and Jane catch a train&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As they are travelling&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To the city again&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Everyman takes the limits of his own field&nbsp;of vision &nbsp;For the limits of the world&nbsp;
