Do you know that Wittgenstein encouraged

His students to sit in deckchairs during his lectures

No

Should I know that

It is not common knowledge

Would you have sat in a deckchair

During one of my lectures

Yes but you invited us to bring any type of chair

Not just deckchairs

Did you bring a deckchair

I cannot remember you

I once wore a gossamer blouse

To one of your lectures Adam

I do not recall that day

You should do

Why

Because you spent most of the afternoon

Looking at my nipples

I am a homosexual why should your nipples have interested me

I do not recall that afternoon

And I cannot recall your nipples

But I am sure that you have nice nipples

Why did you engage in this exhibition

Because you seemed blind to your students

Really

Yes

Were you sitting in a deckchair

I cannot remember

It might have been a red deckchair

Stolen

Yes

Why were they stolen

Because you instructed us to steal our deckchairs

So I did I often encourage the theft of deckchairs

I was instructing you commit a crime as I wanted you to know what it was like to commit a crime

It was a very important part of your course

Poetry

Yes poetry

I have never found a poem exclusively about deckchairs

There are some

Who was the poet

I am not that sure

There were a number of poets

I once asked you about poetry

And you stayed silent

I had nothing to add

The lecture had not started

It was better that I kept my mouth shut

You are a celebrated poet

By whom

Your work is admired

By whom

I value your poetry

Thank you as I do not value my poetry

That is why I remained silent during my lectures

You had more to say than me Lorna
