As you know I have been travelling of late <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hence my silence <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Apologies for that <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Although I love trains <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Many of my journeys are hot tedious and dull<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It seems for my sins <\/p>\n\n\n\n
That God has condemned me <\/p>\n\n\n\n
To travel with his nondescript people <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This said I enjoyed both London and Bath<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And once when very tired imagined <\/p>\n\n\n\n
You topless in my generous hotel bed<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Wearing your glasses <\/p>\n\n\n\n
And reading a newspaper <\/p>\n\n\n\n
When my many letters are published<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I am sure that there will be those <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Who will think that this <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Is an improper thought <\/p>\n\n\n\n
As you are my only sister <\/p>\n\n\n\n
But as I have said to you before <\/p>\n\n\n\n
You have the most beautiful breasts <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Like many the hot weather makes me horny <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I am sure you are the same <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is all down to the softness and comfort <\/p>\n\n\n\n
That these long drawn days bring <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The dampness the sweat and the heat<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And the light of the many colours multiplied <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Breaking here this brings me to the point of my letter<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As when in London I found a wonderful kinetic tunnel <\/p>\n\n\n\n
That runs between St Pancras and Kings Cross <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is a subterranean wonder to behold <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The colours vivid travel slowly along the walls <\/p>\n\n\n\n
And one is at once part of this kinetic light display<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I actually kicked off my loafers and walked barefoot <\/p>\n\n\n\n
As the passage was so cool to the touch <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I had retired from the madness of the railway stations <\/p>\n\n\n\n
If only for the short time that it look me to walk its length <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The next time we are in London<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I will introduce you to this installation <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Joe also stumbled on a subway painted blush pink <\/p>\n\n\n\n
But being an idiot and rushing I forgot to note its location <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Whether it was a temporary but welcome advertising stunt <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is hard to tell as I was running to catch an invisible train <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Again we will look out for it as soon as we are together again<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I ran into Clive when on the tube <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He and Mary are together again <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Christine is a history locked away <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He is painting once more <\/p>\n\n\n\n
And is sending me print of his 2021 work <\/p>\n\n\n\n
A Masterclass of Disobedience <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Which I will hang in my apartment <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I think you will like it and its use of colour <\/p>\n\n\n\n
But that will not be for a couple of months <\/p>\n\n\n\n
As they are travelling for a while <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This letter is far too long Josie <\/p>\n\n\n\n
But I am on a railway station <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the middle of everywhere<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Waiting for a cancelled train <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I will give you a call when I root again <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Then perhaps we can meet <\/p>\n\n\n\n
For drinks as soft as your skin <\/p>\n\n\n\n
All my poems are in the normal place <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Do not hate them too much <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Or if you hate them <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tell me that you love them <\/p>\n\n\n\n
