{"id":15880,"date":"2023-08-18T17:03:36","date_gmt":"2023-08-18T16:03:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stuartmillerosborne.co.uk\/?p=15880"},"modified":"2023-08-18T22:25:44","modified_gmt":"2023-08-18T21:25:44","slug":"nu-du-matin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stuartmillerosborne.com\/index.php\/2023\/08\/18\/nu-du-matin\/","title":{"rendered":"Nu du matin"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<pre id=\"block-92b1f680-540b-4b4f-9507-e8997d4e8025\" class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">Nu du matin Jane<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<pre id=\"tw-target-text\" class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">Nu du matin Will \n\nWhen I awoke Jane was not in our bed \n\nThe cat was nowhere to be seen \n\nI lay back and felt the humid air \n\nDrift across our pale blue room \n\nI thought of calling this poem \n\nThe Dog Days of Summer \n\nBut future events\n\nWould change my mind \n\nAs I drifted down the main stairs \n\nI heard Cleopatra purring in the garden \n\nJane was playing with her using a blue ribbon \n\nThe ribbon had once belonged to my favourite doll Jessica \n\nIt was then that I noticed that \n\nJane was wearing my deep red tee shirt \n\nWhich because of shrinking was exposing her bum \n\nMy beautiful wife did not seem to care \n\nAnd the cat was more interested in the ribbon \n\nMy favourite doll was still mourning her loss  \n\nOut of the common view I stood naked on the terrace \n\nThe Naked Mornings of Summer \n\nOur neighbours walked into their garden \n\nGood Morning Mrs Spears \n\nGood Morning Will \n\nGood Morning Cleopatra \n\nJane smiled \n\nI love these August mornings \n\nIt is like being in the tropics \n\nMinus the servants \n\nWill would you make some coffee \n\nI have just employed this servant \n\nHe is useless but nice to look at \n\nI must say I agree\n\nDoes he come from the colonies \n\nNo just Guildford \n\nA fine specimen \n\nHe has his uses \n\nOur son is coming to see us \n\nWhich one \n\nMichael \n\nIs he the one in the church \n\nVery much he has his own parish now \n\nHow nice \n\nBut it is so far away \n\nI love North Yorkshire \n\nBut it is such a drive \n\nThree hours \n\nGerald why are you naked \n\nBecause it seems to be the done thing \n\nI am not naked \n\nYou are my dear \n\nI am wearing a gown \n\nWithout a belt \n\nI do not think that Jane cares \n\nWho am I to cast the first stone Iris \n\nI like your tee shirt \n\nA beautiful red \n\nIt belongs to Will \n\nHe has nice taste \n\nBut as you can see I have shrunk it \n\nI wish my bottom was nice as yours \n\nI blame the church as mine was never the same \n\nBut Christopher was kind to me \n\nAs I was no longer a novelty \n\nI brought the coffee out on a tray \n\nCome and join us \n\nWill two more cups \n\nCome as you are or less \n\nWe are all the same \n\nJane removed my tee shirt \n\nI wished that she had not done that \n\nAs the sight of her breasts always made me hard \n\nJust look at him \n\nAre you still at prep school Will \n\nThumbing through your mucky magazines \n\nI am sorry but -
