As the previous owner saw fit to vandalise the page <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a black marker <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Why <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Search me <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Is there much left <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Only the title and the first two stanzas <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The poem is called <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Look at all those monkeys <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jumping in their cage <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Why don’t they all go out to work <\/p>\n\n\n\n
And earn a decent wage <\/p>\n\n\n\n
How can you say such silly things <\/p>\n\n\n\n
And you a son of mine <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Imagine all the monkeys travelling on <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Morden to Edgware line <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I once became lost in Morden Joe
I was born in Edgware Josie<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I am your sister Joe
I am your brother Josie <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Are any of the other poems vandalised Joe <\/p>\n\n\n\n
No <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is a rather queer occupation <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Buying a book of poetry <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It might have been stolen<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And vandalising just one poem <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Have you any ideas Joe <\/p>\n\n\n\n
As many as you have Josie <\/p>\n\n\n\n
What are you going to do with the book <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I am going to hide it on the shelves of <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why Islington and not Ware <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Because we live in Ipswich <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We do not live in Ipswich <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Really <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Just look out of the window <\/p>\n\n\n\n
What do you see <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ipswich <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Then we must live in Ipswich <\/p>\n\n\n\n
What do you have in your other hand Joe <\/p>\n\n\n\n
A pair of knickers that once belonged to a policewoman <\/p>\n\n\n\n
They are rather large <\/p>\n\n\n\n
She was a fat policewoman <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Why are they in your possession <\/p>\n\n\n\n
She gave them to me <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Whatever for were you fucking her <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I make it a rule not to fuck fat policewomen <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Joe <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Josie <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is a very silly if not stupid poem <\/p>\n\n\n\n
So it is <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I insist that you vandalise it <\/p>\n\n\n\n
