In Theale in West Berkshire there is a church so large that I wondered why it was built to serve such a small village<\/p>\n
I asked many people but none knew why so I turned to Christ for an answer<\/p>\n
He suggested that we meet for coffee at the Caf\u00e9 Once<\/p>\n
I surrendered my question to him and noted that none knew the answer<\/p>\n
But I did not hear his reply<\/p>\n
For the traffic was loud<\/p>\n
In an instant the traffic was silent and cars buses and lorries passed without disturbance<\/p>\n
This was his first miracle <\/i><\/p>\n
Within the hour we were both standing under the ceremonial arch the announced this great church<\/p>\n
Sadly it had been defaced by the graffiti of ages<\/p>\n
Christ suggested that I touch the scarred stone and as I did so the stone became clean<\/p>\n
This was his second miracle <\/i><\/p>\n
We entered the church as and as we walked around its splendid interior I realised that Christ had not answered my question<\/p>\n
This was his third miracle <\/i><\/p>\n
