{"id":18713,"date":"2024-01-28T08:08:25","date_gmt":"2024-01-28T08:08:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stuartmillerosborne.co.uk\/?p=18713"},"modified":"2024-01-28T08:14:37","modified_gmt":"2024-01-28T08:14:37","slug":"absurdities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stuartmillerosborne.com\/index.php\/2024\/01\/28\/absurdities\/","title":{"rendered":"Absurdities"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Anyone who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Who said that Joe <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Voltaire <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I like it<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is so relevant today <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Take people placing pronouns after their name <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is absurd <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That is because they identify with other things <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She\/Her<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> I think is one <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Most women are basically bisexual <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That is pretty obvious to anybody who thinks clearly <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So why state the fucking obvious <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is almost like a comfort blanket <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I have decided to identify as a garage <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That is absurd Joe <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You look nothing like a garage <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Visually yes <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But I feel like a garage <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So have added it to my name <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That is how ridiculous pronouns are <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is subtle brainwashing <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And with that if you expand the line of thought <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Comes the more sinister part of the quote <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Clever chap Voltaire <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Very much <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What would he have made of today <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I think he would have wept <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Does stupidity upset you Joe <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yes but I am used to it <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is not of my invention and I have quoted it often <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But I will use it again <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Beware the Tyranny of the Stupid <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Do you mean that only the stupid use pronouns <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Well if you think about it logically <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is a pretty daft thing to do <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If I married a lobster people would think me odd <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But some would value the absurdity of my behaviour <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To add pronouns is just an absurd behaviour <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As is engaging in a relationship with a lobster <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wars start because of absurdities <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">People die because of absurdities <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Joe if you were to add a pronoun <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What would yours be <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Joe <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That is not a pronoun <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Joe is not a pronoun <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To think that it is is absurd <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Anyone who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities.
