I am reading about the idiocy of the church <\/p>\n\n\n\n
A short while ago the church had an attack of guilt <\/p>\n\n\n\n
About the supposed advantages that the church gained<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Through the slave trade <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Over one hundred and fifty years ago <\/p>\n\n\n\n
One of the senior idiots in charge <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Thought it would be a good idea<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To suggest a financial package <\/p>\n\n\n\n
To help them all feel better <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Which I thought was a huge mistake at he time <\/p>\n\n\n\n
As it was obvious that they would be taken for a ride <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The initial offer was a considerable amount of money <\/p>\n\n\n\n
But that was not enough <\/p>\n\n\n\n
And it has been reported that the amount of one billion pounds has been mentioned <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Knock me down with a feather and call me Phillip <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This was entirely predictable and the church has been incredibly naive<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They have put themselves in a Catch 22 position <\/p>\n\n\n\n
If I had been in charge I would not have considered any financial package <\/p>\n\n\n\n
If you take the idea to its parameters then the UK should be chasing all the beastly countries that have been wicked to us over the centuries <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Romans <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Vikings <\/p>\n\n\n\n
And good old Napoleon to mention just three <\/p>\n\n\n\n
These are extreme examples <\/p>\n\n\n\n
But it illustrates the absurdity of the idea <\/p>\n\n\n\n
One cannot change history only learn from it <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This rather important point has been totally misunderstood by those in the church who are frankly really rather stupid people <\/p>\n\n\n\n
They are good people and their hearts are in the right place <\/p>\n\n\n\n
But they lack the vision <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is indeed the tyranny of the stupid <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sadly this will do an untold amount of damage going forward as every banana republic will look into its history and demand compensation <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is the Theatre of the Absurd <\/p>\n\n\n\n
