To me this is a little pathetic and is driven by those with other agendas <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I feel the comfort of a mother country no matter where I am in the world<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I feel a comfort in our great history <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is a feeling of warmth of belonging and because of this we do not wildly celebrate St. George’s Day as to so is a little vulgar <\/p>\n\n\n\n
When I was a child Daddy told me about a few German prisoners of war that during his war service he cared for <\/p>\n\n\n\n
They were just men who had been caught up in a storm <\/p>\n\n\n\n
To a man they told him that they were glad to have been captured by the English\/British because of our sense of fair play <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It has to be cricket <\/p>\n\n\n\n
If they had surrendered to other allied countries then their fate might have been very different <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is a minor memory of the war but says a lot about these islands <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We have a inbuilt sense of fair play <\/p>\n\n\n\n
That said we can be a harsh enemy <\/p>\n\n\n\n
But common sense always applies <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We are the most democratic country in the world <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We take free speech as a right and although sometimes quite painful <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Agree with Voltaire <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is why I hate those who would deny us this right <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Malignant Left <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are technically very few of them but it is their influence that is malignant <\/p>\n\n\n\n
