{"id":21415,"date":"2024-06-25T09:25:44","date_gmt":"2024-06-25T08:25:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stuartmillerosborne.co.uk\/?p=21415"},"modified":"2024-06-25T09:42:09","modified_gmt":"2024-06-25T08:42:09","slug":"logic","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stuartmillerosborne.com\/index.php\/2024\/06\/25\/logic\/","title":{"rendered":"Flash Fiction"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today is a very hot day  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Too hot to walk very far <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I  have decided to sit on the embankment <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Of a disused railway lost in time <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Although pleasant it is a sad location <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I am reading a book of short stories <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That I recently purchased in Hythe <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These were written by H.G. Wells <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One in particular has taken my fancy <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And I have decided to build a machine <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So that I might travel back some sixty years  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I would persuade the authorities <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> That the closure is short sighted <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As the railway is still a considerable asset <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Soon after I would travel back to 2024 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And watch the trains pass by <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Whilst reading my book <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today is a very hot day Too hot to walk very far I have decided to sit on the embankment Of a disused railway lost in time Although pleasant it is a sad location I am reading a book of short stories That I recently purchased in Hythe These were written by H.G.
