It was a landslide as I expected and the Lib Dems did well which indicates protest\u00a0votes\u00a0in the mix
The new party did very well as what this country really wants is a strong Centre-Right government
This leads to me to the fun and games in France
The NR if successful will cause a seismic\u00a0change in the country that you and I love so much
It has already happened in Italy but I sense that the NR will be more radical as France is a country on the edge and we all know why that is happening

I am so so glad that you are recovering – I can see from your letters that the old Josie is coming back – Cora is so good for you as she is a wise girl unlike some of your other passions
She is good for you and you are good for her
As you can see I have been writing some splendid poetry of late – my pen is very busy
