Norah and I have been travelling around Europe in our VW<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But now we have returned home to take stock of ourselves <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We ate drank slept fucked and sometimes travelled in Middlemass <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Norah had named our camper van after her favourite teacher at school <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Even though most of the time we lived in our own chaos and filth <\/p>\n\n\n\n
There was something very chic about our VW and this rubbed off on us <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We met another couple Frabk and Rosee who called their VW Mr Manning <\/p>\n\n\n\n
They shared food and introduced us to beaches impossible to find <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It was a great friendship and we were sorry to leave them when our journeys split <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Occasionally we would stay at a hotel so we could clean deep clean<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Norah would book in as Charlotte Corday and I was Louis Celine <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nobody ever questioned our humour possibly because we were English <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our VW is sky blue and white but always dusty and looking tired<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We have various paperbacks dotted around the van just for decoration <\/p>\n\n\n\n
These were either found or stolen and just happened to be there<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Add to that the pads and pencils that Norah uses <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Then as you might guess space is a valued commodity <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Two of the side windows have never really closed <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Which was good for ventilation but less for security <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Not that we have anything worth stealing <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We are staying with Mother of Olivia now <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Whose family seems to own half of Sussex <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Joe and Norah are presentable <\/p>\n\n\n\n
