The weather in London has been dreadful recently <\/i><\/p>\n
And has been killing off large numbers of bees much to my distress <\/i><\/p>\n
I have enclosed an Israeli book mark for you <\/i><\/p>\n
Which has twelve trapped stamps from the Promised Land <\/i><\/p>\n
Yesterday an unidentified saint was martyred in front of my flat <\/i><\/p>\n
He spoke to me briefly before his execution <\/i><\/p>\n
His name was Keg and was present with two Roman soldiers at the moment of Christ\u2019s Resurrection <\/i><\/p>\n
Later he announced the resurrection to the scribes <\/i><\/p>\n
And was asked to remain silent <\/i><\/p>\n
He refused <\/i><\/p>\n
And departed for Jerusalem telling anybody who listened <\/i><\/p>\n
That Jesus was the True God <\/i><\/p>\n
Soldiers were sent out to arrest him <\/i><\/p>\n
He offered them hospitality<\/i><\/p>\n
Which they did not accept<\/i><\/p>\n
He was decapitated and his head was left on the ground <\/i><\/p>\n
A golden halo surrounded it <\/i><\/p>\n
The Jews gave gifts to the erring soldiers <\/i><\/p>\n
And later brought the head to Pontius Pilate <\/i><\/p>\n
Who ordered that it be thrown on to a manure pile outside of the city walls <\/i><\/p>\n
The following day the saint appeared to a blind woman and requested that she might locate the manure pile and retrieve his head <\/i><\/p>\n
The blind woman after difficulty found the saint’s head and was commanded to kiss it <\/i><\/p>\n
Which she did<\/i><\/p>\n
Her sight returned<\/i><\/p>\n
She saw the saint standing with her new born son in his arms<\/i><\/p>\n
The child was named Keg<\/i><\/p>\n
I believe my unidentified saint came from Asia Minor although he might have been of Maltese origin <\/i><\/p>\n
On the night before his execution I slept with his sister<\/i><\/p>\n
Her name was Ko <\/i><\/p>\n
Please do not think less of me <\/i><\/p>\n
As I miss you greatly<\/i><\/p>\n
Do enjoy the Walt Whitman book I sent you <\/i><\/p>\n
I admire his poems <\/i><\/p>\n
Although I was saddened to learn that he had never visited Malta <\/i><\/p>\n
