Forgive the clickbate title <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I have woken up this morning <\/p>\n\n\n\n
And wondered why we do things <\/p>\n\n\n\n
That we know will harm us <\/p>\n\n\n\n
A girl I know named Ham <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Is sitting on a lonely railway track <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Waiting for a nuclear train <\/p>\n\n\n\n
They occasionally pass <\/p>\n\n\n\n
What will she achieve <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nothing <\/p>\n\n\n\n
She will die and the train will pass <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I have already called the cops <\/p>\n\n\n\n
There are gatherings this weekend <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Where crimes will occur <\/p>\n\n\n\n
But we let them go ahead <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Why <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Because we are cowards <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I have pointed this out <\/p>\n\n\n\n
And was told <\/p>\n\n\n\n
That if cancelled <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It would spoil the happiness <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Of many people <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Happiness do they understand the word <\/p>\n\n\n\n
To anybody who really thinks <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The answers are so fucking clear <\/p>\n\n\n\n
A thought <\/p>\n\n\n\n
If one was in a city <\/p>\n\n\n\n
And most people were half naked <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Then it would be thought strange <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Yet the same people gather <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In hostile environments <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Near the sea <\/p>\n\n\n\n
(Which is a harsh mistress) <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In states of undress <\/p>\n\n\n\n
But nobody considers it strange <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I do not oppose these behaviours <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Far from it <\/p>\n\n\n\n
As I am one of these naked people <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is like primates <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We keep them in cages <\/p>\n\n\n\n
And study them <\/p>\n\n\n\n
How human they are <\/p>\n\n\n\n
How like us they are<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They are to be admired <\/p>\n\n\n\n
But we draw a thick black line under them <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Do not let them get too close <\/p>\n\n\n\n
As we have seen what can happen <\/p>\n\n\n\n
My friend has just been arrested <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I am glad for her <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Her brain has been poisoned by others<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She is confused <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ham will remain my friend <\/p>\n\n\n\n
But she does not know that <\/p>\n\n\n\n
As she is angry with me <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I have never stood on a railway line <\/p>\n\n\n\n
They are best observed from a distance
Molly as you can see is more than a primate <\/p>\n\n\n\n
